This section lists disclaimers that clarify Simran’s Detailing services and work scopes further. These disclaimers support our policy of being transparent and are meant to promote a better understanding with our customers.
General
- On check-in, we ask our customers to identify and point out any components or parts that were already broken or in a condition about to fail before the detailing appointment. Then extra care will be taken during the cleaning process in these areas.
- If we find defective materials or loose-fitting parts while cleaning, we may not be able to clean them properly and will advise the customer.
- In any case, Simran’s Detailing will not be responsible to repair near failing parts that may tear, break, or come loose in the cleaning process.
- Simran’s Detailing will not be held responsible to replace weak or dead batteries. We avoid using any electrical devices on cars that may drain a battery, but leaving doors open during the cleaning process can drain a battery if it is in a weak state. Customers need to ensure their battery is in proper working condition.
- Our trained staff will detail customer vehicles with the greatest care possible. However, if any mechanical or electrical/electronic components fail for no reason while in our care, Simran’s Detailing will not be liable and will not accept any responsibility to make repairs. Examples of such failures could be windows or doors malfunctions, autos not starting, convertible roof not working, seats locking up, electrical or screen displays failing etc.
Interior Detail/Clean
- Customers are requested to clear their personal items from their vehicle before appointments. Simran’s Detailing will not be held responsible for any lost or damaged personal items.
- Glove box interiors will not be cleaned and owner contents in glove boxes will not be disturbed
- Child car seat(s) should be removed prior to the appointment if you wish the seat cleaned under the child seat. We are not authorised in re-installing child seats to meets specifications.
- Simran’s Detailing does not clean the inside of enclosed canopies on large trucks because most owners have them filled with tools and supplies and the inside is difficult to access with a pressure hose. If cleaning of this area is required, it is available at discretion of Simran’s Detailing with an additional price.
- For vehicles that have excessive dog hair or dirt conditions that are greater than the average amount and take extra time to detail, a surcharge may be applied. The detailer working on the vehicle will assess this charge as the work proceeds.
Exterior Detail/Clean
- Simran’s Detailing is not a paint repair or touch up shop and will not be held responsible to fix any paint failures that may occur during cleaning or after. We can refer customers to a qualified paint repair and auto body shops.
- Simran’s Detailing is not responsible for any paint damages during the polishing/waxing or external detailing process that may occur on painted surfaces that are again, that are of inadequate cover/design or have started to lift or crack off the surface.
- Simran’s Detailing will not take responsibility for any damages to paint protective film (PPF) coverings that may occur during the washing process. We ask all customer before starting if they have any protective coatings and if so, we wash those areas with a low-pressure water hose and not a pressure washer to avoid any possible damage.
- For vehicles with aftermarket window tinting, we clean the glass carefully as possible and do not use any sharp cleaning tools. In any event, we do not take responsibility for any film that lifts or breaks during the cleaning process.
- Simran’s Detailing will also ensure that if any damages are made and we are at fault. We will fix them complimentary.
- Simran’s Detailing only clean the sunroof glass surfaces with the sunroof in closed position. We do not open sunroof windows to do track cleaning. The sunroof tracks are best maintained by auto glass shops. They have the expertise to clean and re-grease the tracks and check all the drainage/lubrication system & vents to ensure proper movement and water drainage.
Engine Bay Detailing
- Simran’s Detailing is not liable or responsible for malfunction or breakage of any of the vehicles mechanical/electrical/electronic components. We do not interfere with vehicles more than the minimum required amount of use to ensure we perform our job.
Premium Wash
- A Premium Wash is a 1hr to 1 ½ (depending on size of vehicle) hand wash service designed for newer or previously detailed vehicles. It is not meant to be a deep cleaning or detailing service. The Premium Wash services vehicles of any size, but keep in mind the expectation and quality are far different than a full detail appointment that can take from 5-8 hours of labour.
Deposit & Cancellation Policy
When booking in any service with Simran’s Detailing, you are booking in an exclusive time slot, therefore, to ensure all bookings are confirmed, a deposit is required at the time of booking.
Deposit Policy
- Each service requires a non-refundable deposit, based on the service this will start from $100 with the remaining balance paid at the completion of the service.
- A deposit is not an additional fee, the deposited amount is taken off your total at the completion of the service received. For example, if an Interior Detail at the price of $300 is booked, a deposit of $100 is required, and the balance of $200 will be paid at completion.
Cancellation Policy
At Simran’s Detailing, we understand that things do come up and sometimes booking need to be re-scheduled. As courtesy to all clients, we would appreciate a 48 hour (2 days) notice prior to cancellations or rescheduling of bookings.
- In case of a cancellation within 24 hours of your booking, the time slot and deposit will be forfeited and a new deposit is required to rebook another day.
- If a cancellation is made 48 hours prior to your booking, then the deposit is not lost and another time slot will be allocated.
- In the case of a booking made within 48 hours, we require 24 hours (1 day) notice for cancellations. Failure to notify us within 24 hours of your booking, the time slot and deposit will be lost and a new deposit is required to rebook another day.
- In the case of a booking made within 24 hours, we require 12 hour’s notice for cancellations. Failure to notify us within 12 hours of your booking, the time slot and deposit will be lost and a new deposit is required to rebook another day.
- In the case of bad weather condition and you wish to cancel or reschedule your booking without sufficient notice, your deposit will not be lost and another booking can be allocated.
- Simran’s Detailing reserves the right to alter a booking time/date without penalty but wherever possible will let the customer know at the earliest opportunity.
